This application provides a hands-on demonstration showcasing an Altivar 71 Variable Frequency Drive, a Twido Programmable Controller and a web-gate enabled Magelis HMI display. Each of these units is communicating over Ethernet. You will have the ability to change specific values within the Twido PLC which in-turn controls motor speed and direction. The Magelis HMI is used for local control and information display. The Altivar 71 keypad is set to display motor speed. Changes in motor speed and direction are viewable via a webcam. Access Link : 12.52.249.228 To view the demo you will need to install two ActiveX downloads, one for the Vijeo Designer WebGate and one for the Panasonic WebCam. Once these downloads are complete be sure to watch for a yellow bar at the top of your screen to authorize final installation of these ActiveX applications.
